3M is seeking a Sales Representative for its Medical Solutions Division for its Okanagan based territory. The ideal candidate will make an impact to the Wound Care and Vascular Access business by working with clinicians, procurement, key stakeholders, and cross functional teams and develop value-based initiatives within the territory (Interior Health Authority, Northern Health Authority, and the Yukon).

Main Responsibilities:

• Maintain and build territory sales, driving growth and developing new business opportunities within the designated geography
• Accountable for fiscal growth targets and budgets, with a focus on KPI's within SalesForce
• Educate end users on products, positioning 3M as a solutions provider
• Work and collaborate with 3M internal sales and marketing team
• Manage selling cycles consisting of multiple touch points

To set you up for success in this role from Day 1, 3M requires (at minimum) the following qualifications

• Completion of Post-secondary education (Life Sciences, Business, or Marketing) OR 5 years of sales in a hospital environment
• 3 years of Sales experience
• Able to successfully pass a Pre-Hire Motor vehicle screening assessment

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

• Experience with wound care and/or vascular access products (securement devices and dressings, skin prep products, etc)
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong customer focus and consultative skills, with a proven ability to develop solutions that address customer needs
• Strong business acumen with clear understanding of healthcare sales & marketing processes
• Knowledge of CRM systems (i.e. Salesforce)

Travel: In this role, you will be required to travel approximately 20% of the time, which may involve overnight stays. A valid driver's license is required.

Relocation: Not authorized

Company Vehicle: This position will require driving a company vehicle, which will require pre-employment and ongoing review of motor vehicle history for candidates who are offered and hired for this position (if applicable)
