We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Heavy Equipment Sales Representative to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for promoting and selling our extensive range of heavy equipment to clients in various industries. Your expertise in understanding customer needs and providing tailored solutions will be crucial in driving sales and fostering long-term relationships with clients.
Duties
Develop and maintain relationships with existing clients while actively seeking new business opportunities in the heavy equipment sector.
Conduct thorough market research to identify potential customers and assess their equipment needs.
Present product demonstrations and provide technical information about heavy equipment features, benefits, and applications.
Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations that address client requirements and showcase our product offerings.
Negotiate contracts and close sales, ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the purchasing process.
Collaborate with the service department to ensure smooth equipment delivery and setup for clients.
Stay updated on industry trends, competitor offerings, and market conditions to effectively position our products.
Attend trade shows, industry events, and networking opportunities to promote our brand and expand your professional network.
Requirements
Proven experience in sales, preferably within the heavy equipment or construction industry.
Strong understanding of heavy machinery, including specifications, applications, and maintenance requirements.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and present information clearly.
Self-motivated with a results-oriented mindset and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Proficient in using CRM software and other sales tools to manage leads and track sales activities.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; willingness to travel as needed for client meetings and site visits.
