The Muslim Advisory Council of Canada is seeking a motivated and results-driven
Sales Representative to lead the promotion and sales of our training streams to
businesses, educational institutions, healthcare providers, public safety
organisations, and more. This role is entirely commission-based, offering the
flexibility of remote work and the potential for high earnings based on
performance. The ideal candidate will have strong communication and sales skills,
experience with selling services, and a passion for promoting diversity, equity, and
inclusion in the workplace.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and generate leads for our suite of training streams, focusing on
anti-Islamophobia, cultural competency and anti-Islamophobia healthcare
cultural competency.
Develop and maintain relationships with potential clients, including educational
institutions, healthcare providers, public safety organisations, corporate entities,
and community organisations.
Present and pitch training solutions to key decision-makers in target sectors.
Customise sales approaches to meet the specific needs of different client
organisations.
Negotiate terms and close sales, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements.
Collaborate with the MACC team to ensure the successful delivery of sold
training packages.
Stay up to date on MACC's offerings and initiatives, as well as sector-specific
needs and trends.
Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
Qualifications:
- Proven track record in sales, preferably within a training, education, or
service-based environment.
Strong network and experience selling to one or more of the following sectors:
healthcare, education, corporate, non-profit, or public safety.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet sales goals.
Passion for promoting equity, diversity, and inclusion.
Understanding of Islamophobia, cultural competency, and gender-based
violence issues is a strong asset but not required. Training will be provided.
Compensation:
This is a commission-based role. The compensation structure will be highly
competitive, with the potential for substantial earnings based on performance.
