ABOUT THE ROLE Exergy is looking for a team member to support the growth of our business through marketing and communications activities. This is a work experience term. Applicants must meet certain requirements. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist with market and potential client research
• Assist with client tracking and strategic planning
• Assist in marketing and advertising promotional activities (e.g., social media, direct email, and web).

• Publishing communications and engaging with team to cover key events
• Support internal communications activities including keeping internal SharePoint site up to date
• Prepare promotional presentations
• Assist with the management and updating of Exergy\xe2\x80\x99s library of brand assets and templates
• Collect quantitative and qualitative data from marketing campaigns

• Manage and update company database and customer relationship management systems (CRM)
• Perform market analysis and research on competition
• Develop marketing tools and collateral
• Assist with tradeshow planning and participation

JOB TYPE
Part-Time to Full-Time JOB TERM Internship START date window: April 17 to May 15, 2023; Internship END date window: June 16 to October 13, 2023. QUALIFICATIONS Candidates for this position will have:

• Enrolled full or part time in a Canadian college or university with a preference for backgrounds in in Sales & Marketing / Communications.
• Proficiency with full suite of Microsoft Office including SharePoint.
• Strong desire to learn along with professional drive.
• Solid understanding of different sales and marketing techniques.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication and organizational skills.
• Strong writing and content creation skills.
• Familiarity with marketing computer software and online applications (e.g. CRM tools, Online analytics, and Google Adwords).
• Familiarity with social media campaigns and best practices.
• Enthusiastic team player and self-starter who can work cross-functionally and collaboratively with ease.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and detail orientated.
• Must enjoy working in a dynamic and changing environment.
• Comfortable managing and working under tight deadlines.
• A background in graphic design is considered an asset.
