Top Hand Supplies is a raw pet food / pet treat manufacturer and distributor based in Cranbrook, BC. Basecamp to the Kootenay Rockies Experience. We make Pets Go Raw brand raw pet food and distribute throughout Western Canada. To be considered for and succeed in this role you will need to have a real passion for pet health and nutrition with a focus on Raw Pet Food. We are seeking a Sales & Marketing Manager to build out and lead a successful Sales & Marketing department. The department will build on existing relationships, attract and retain long lasting customers, and drive sales. The Sales & Marketing Manager will set and deliver attainable goals that move the organization toward the overall company goals. You must be a team player who is dedicated to the company's values, vision, and mission.
Duties & Responsibilities
Building a department and team that focuses on structure, process, & reaching overall company goals.
Recruiting, training, scheduling, coaching, and managing marketing and sales team members to meet sales and marketing objectives.
Preparing and analyzing budgets, scheduling expenditures, setting sales quotas and goals.
Holding team members and themselves accountable to deliver on the goals
Maintaining relationships with existing clients by making regular and meaningful connections, understanding their needs, and working with retail partners to anticipate and deliver new opportunities.
Promoting and growing the company's existing brands and introducing new products to the market.
Searching out new partnerships and building relationships to increase sales.
Researching and developing sales & marketing opportunities and plans, understanding consumer requirements, identifying market trends, and suggesting system improvements to achieve the company's goals through data driven analysis and planning.
Building and implementing new sales plans and advertising campaigns with the support of the team.
Gathering, investigating, and summarizing market data and trends and presenting reports and plans to the teams.
Staying current in the industry by attending educational opportunities, conferences, trade shows, and workshops, reading publications, and maintaining personal and professional networks.

Qualifications & Skills
Previous experience in Sales & Marketing Management.
Post secondary education in related field
Ability to compile, analyze, & make decisions based on relevant data
Strong understanding of sales principles and customer service practices.
Ability to develop sales strategies, implement them effectively, & analyze roi.
Ability to develop marketing strategies aligned with business goals.
Experience in market research and understanding customer needs and behavior.
Ability to lead and motivate a team to achieve goals.
Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously.
Experience in setting and managing budgets.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
Familiarity with CRM software and sales automation tools.
Knowledge of marketing automation platforms and digital marketing tools (e.g., Google Analytics, SEO tools).
Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and partners.
Understanding of customer lifecycle management and strategies to enhance customer retention.
Ability to generate new ideas for sales and marketing initiatives.
Ability to adapt to changing market conditions and adjust strategies accordingly.
Flexibility to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Pay: $85,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
