Job Description

SoilOptix is a leader in high-resolution soil mapping, providing advanced data solutions that help farmers, ag-retailers, and industry partners make better-informed decisions. We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Sales & Marketing Coordinator to join our team. This role plays a pivotal role in driving the growth and success of SoilOptix. This dynamic position oversees global customer engagement, sales pipeline management, office administration, and all marketing and communications strategies. Acting as a bridge between internal teams, customers, and external partners, the role is focused on enhancing efficiency, strengthening brand presence, and delivering outstanding customer experiences. Responsibilities outlined below are representative, and flexibility to support other departments as needed is expected.

Key Responsibilities:

General Office Administration



Supervise the Admin & Marketing Assistant, including workload management and task oversight. Manage incoming calls and administer the phone system. Coordinate purchasing of office supplies and business essentials. Work with the Operations Manager to plan and execute team events; oversee employee anniversaries (documentation, acknowledgments, and gifts). Coordinate travel arrangements with external partners. Schedule meetings and coordinate internal calendars. Oversee ordering, inventory, and distribution of company-branded attire. Maintain internal systems including Trello and SuiteCRM. Coordinate logistics for inbound and outbound shipments.

Marketing & Communications



Maintain and update the company website, including compliance, plugin upkeep, and content updates. Plan and execute SoilOptix's presence at tradeshows, including logistics, booth operations, and post-event follow-up. Manage media relations, press releases, and interviews for company leadership. Oversee social media presence and contractors across all major platforms (Facebook, X, LinkedIn, YouTube, Instagram). Collaborate with the sales team on various tools and social media/print campaigns, marketing materials, presentations etc. Produce and edit multimedia content (photo/video) for promotional and internal use. Lead planning, hosting, and follow-up for the annual Customer Forum Event. Manage branded content production (laser engraver and embroidery), including design and inventory.

Sales & Customer Success



Oversee the Admin & Marketing Assistant's responses to incoming website leads and inquiries. Manage communications with new sales leads from initial inquiry to ongoing engagement. Support sales meetings: take notes, update CRM records, and ensure timely follow-ups. Develop and distribute sales documents, including proposals, quotes, invoices, contracts, amendments, and NDAs. Assist with sensor ordering, fleet activity tracking, and initial levels of customer support. Provide global account management: nurture existing customer relationships, support growth, and adapt solutions to meet their needs. Oversee renewals of customer contracts and payment schedules. Guide new prospects through the sales pipeline, from inquiry to onboarding.
*Additional tasks and duties may be assigned as needed to support the business.

Qualifications



High School Graduate (Required), College/University Degree (Preferred). 2-3 years' experience in sales, administrative and marketing support, or similar exposure in complex environments. Experience in the agriculture sector and soil is an asset. Previous frontline sales experience is an asset. Advanced MS Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint) skills and overall technology savvy. Experience with design and digital tools such as InDesign, Inkscape, WordPress, Photoshop, and video editors is an asset. Demonstrated initiative, flexibility, teamwork, maturity under pressure, with ability to anticipate and resolve issues. Highly motivated, detail-oriented, organized, and results-driven. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal. Willingness to travel as required with updated passport.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
