Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Estimator to join our dynamic team in the Tactile Plate Installation industry. The ideal candidate will possess a background in concrete construction, and ideally looking for someone who has built strong connections in the industry, to help with securing more projects. This role will be guided by the Project Manager and will be shown three areas of how to get more business and secure PO's. The estimator needs to understand how to accurately price jobs and have effective negotiation strategies that that win and secure projects.

Responsibilities

Actively scout opportunities by travelling to visit contractors and building sites, and talk about the products we sell. Prepare detailed cost estimates for tactile plate installations & knows how to work PO's. Knows how to bid & tender and look for new projects. Analyze blueprints, specifications, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates. Collaborate with project manager to develop areas of target, project budgets and timelines. Monitor project costs throughout the lifecycle to ensure adherence to budget constraints. Maintain organized records of estimates, bids, and project documentation.

Experience

Proven experience in construction estimating or a similar role within the construction industry. Strong sales background. Contacts within the concrete industry. Confidence to talk about our products. Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and pricing strategies. Excellent negotiation skills with a track record of successful contract management. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines. Strong analytical skills with attention to detail for accurate cost assessments. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to collaborate with team members and clients. Contract length: 12 months

Pay: $50,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
