Job Summary The Business Development Manager for Wire Line Services and E&P Completions activities is an integral member of the DynaEnergetics Commercial Sales Team, reporting to the VP of Sales/Business Development. The role is responsible for delivering the asset light and value-added sales models to Wireline Service Companies and E&P Operators through their organization. In addition to brand and production promotion, the BDM helps to guide product development initiatives that directly add value to completions activities. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Develops and supports strategic account plans with territory team members to grow the WL Services and E&P Operator customer base and increase DynaEnergetics share of their business in cross functional territories.
  • Supports development of strategic corporate plans and initiatives for value added technical applications and adoption of perforating products by WL services and E&P organizations.
  • Works directly with WL Service companies in the sales process from end-to-end.
  • Works directly with E&P organization in the education and advocacy of DynaEnergetics, technology, systems and products.
  • Assists in the development and implementation of product plans for North American shale market.
  • Provides domain expertise for customer interface for DynaEnergetics Management and Commercial teams
  • Prepares technical / educational internal and external presentations related to completions activities and Quarterly SQR\xe2\x80\x99s/BR\xe2\x80\x99s for customers.
  • Reports on sales meetings and market activities through the use of eCRM (SalesForce).
  • Provides domain specific market intelligence and customer technical challenges feedback to marketing and products team.
  • Assists in coordination of marketing efforts and materials directed towards WL and E&P industry activity.
  • Responsible for achieving budgeted territory sales goals, quota and objectives.
  • Responsible for the coordination of all price list and quotes within region.
  • Cooperates with sales budget and forecasting formulation for the region.
  • Reports and participates in meetings in accordance with DynaEnergetics policy.
  • Develops and manages targets and timelines for key account growth.
  • Represents DynaEnergetics at technical associations and conferences.
  • Controls expenses and adheres to company guidelines and policies related to spending and expense reporting.
  • Provides/coordinates technical support to our own field sales personnel and our customers\xe2\x80\x99 field offices in the US.
Education and/or Experience
  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience in account management and value-added sales.
  • Proven track record of success with Oil and Gas, WL, and E&P Operators.
  • Direct wirelines and completions knowledge with closely associated hydraulic fracturing industry experience.
  • Solid understanding of customer drivers and market dynamics.
  • Experience in Customer Relationship Management.
  • Track record of success in a multi-partner environment where objectives may not be completely aligned.
  • Extensive travel to field locations, WL Locations, E&P operating offices and key customer HQ\xe2\x80\x99s.
  • Ability to work in a diverse global team and support R&D and product development efforts.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with dynamic goals and objectives.
  • Adaptable/flexible: being open to change in response to new information, different or unexpected circumstances, and/or to work in ambiguous situations.
