We're seeking a strategic and hands-on
Sales and Marketing Manager
to lead our domestic and international sales efforts while driving brand awareness, customer relationships, and growth initiatives across channels.
About the Role:
Reporting to the owner, you'll be responsible for managing and growing our branded and private label business across retail, foodservice, and specialty channels. You'll also oversee all marketing initiatives, from trade shows to digital campaigns, working closely with internal and external partners.
This is a key leadership role with direct influence on the company's strategic direction and long term growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Leadership
Develop and execute sales strategies to drive revenue growth across Canada, the U.S., and international markets
Manage existing accounts and broker relationships while identifying and converting new opportunities
Lead private label and co-manufacturing sales pipeline, including pricing, proposals, and customer onboarding
Monitor performance metrics and customer forecasts to optimize production and inventory planning
Marketing Management
Plan and execute marketing campaigns including trade shows, digital advertising, social media, sampling, and PR
Collaborate on packaging and brand development initiatives
Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform product positioning and messaging
Manage creative agencies and marketing vendors
Collaboration & Leadership
Work closely with operations, R&D, and finance to align cross functional goals
Provide market insights to support new product development and innovation pipeline
Represent Honeybar with professionalism and enthusiasm at industry events and customer meetings
Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in sales and marketing, ideally in CPG, food & beverage, or natural products
Proven success managing national and regional retail accounts (branded and/or private label)
Experience in international markets or export sales is a strong asset
Strong project management and communication skills
Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive, hands-on approach
Comfort with CRM systems, sales analytics, and digital marketing platforms
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing or related field
