Position Summary:
Reporting to the Chief Strategy Officer, the Sales and Marketing Executive will lead new client acquisition, strategic partnership development, and targeted marketing activities to drive growth of our EMR SaaS business. The ideal candidate combines consultative sales expertise, strong healthcare market knowledge, and polished relationship-building skills to position Alpha Global IT as the trusted choice among physicians, clinics, and healthcare networks.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Client Acquisition
Identify, qualify, and close new business opportunities for EMR SaaS products within Ontario's healthcare market.
Conduct product demos and consultative presentations to physicians, medical administrators, and healthcare organizations.
Manage the full sales cycle: outreach, scoping, proposal development, negotiation, and contract closure.
Maintain a healthy sales pipeline and accurate CRM records (e.g., Dynamics CRM).
Meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales targets.
Build and nurture relationships with clinics, healthcare associations, regional health authorities, and eHealth partners (e.g.,
Monitor and analyze market trends, competitive offerings, and emerging healthcare regulations to identify new business opportunities.
Prepare business cases and proposals for partnerships and new service rollouts.
Marketing & Brand Growth
Increase awareness and adoption of Alpha Global IT's EMR solutions across target markets.
Manage digital marketing campaigns including Google Ads, LinkedIn, and healthcare-focused media.
Support the creation of client-focused collateral such as case studies, value propositions, and webinar content.
Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and medical association conferences.
Customer Relationship & Retention
Work closely with implementation and technical support teams to ensure seamless onboarding for new clients.
Conduct client satisfaction reviews and identify opportunities for improvement of additional modules (e.g., Patient Portal, Virtual Care, Analytics dashboards).
Act as a trusted partner to existing clients to drive renewals and strengthen long-term relationships.
Reporting & Growth Strategy
Prepare regular sales forecasts, performance reports, and market intelligence updates.
Provide insights to management on product improvement, pricing strategy, and competitive positioning.
Qualifications & Experience:
Required:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Health Informatics, or related field.
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in sales, business development, or marketing within healthcare technology, EMR, or SaaS industry.
Proven track record in achieving sales targets and developing B2B and B2C relationships.
Familiarity with the Ontario healthcare system, physician workflows, and digital health initiatives.
Strong presentation, negotiation, and communication skills.
Proficiency with CRM tools, digital marketing platforms, and MS Office/Google Workspace.
Experience selling EMR, EHR, or clinical software solutions in Canada.
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel across Ontario.
Preferred:
Understanding of PHIPA, PIPEDA, and healthcare data privacy regulations.
Knowledge of Azure-hosted SaaS models and technical integrations.
Familiarity with ISO 27001 compliance environments.
