The Role
We're looking for a Sales & Business Growth Manager who's excited to bring fresh energy to our business development. This isn't a cookie-cutter sales job -- it's about finding and building relationships with brands we admire, turning conversations into collaborations, and helping us grow to the next level.
You'll be the person making first contact, sparking curiosity, and guiding potential clients through the journey from "interested" to "excited to sign."
What You'll Do
Generate new business opportunities through outreach (DMs, LinkedIn, email, referrals).
Manage and track leads in our pipeline -- follow up, nurture, and keep momentum alive.
Run discovery calls and understand client needs deeply.
Collaborate with our creative team to tailor proposals and pitches.
Nurture long-term relationships and prospects who may not be ready yet.
Develop and lead a growth strategy -- identify new platforms, partnerships, and opportunities where we should show up to attract clients.
Act as the eyes and ears of the market -- bring back insights on client pain points, competitor activity, and emerging trends to shape our offerings.
Build and refine repeatable systems for client acquisition so our growth is sustainable.
Show up IRL: attend industry events, brand activations, and openings to connect with potential clients in person and grow our network
About You
You have proven experience in sales, business development, or partnerships (bonus if it's in marketing, media, or creative industries).
You're confident in outreach -- sending a smart, warm DM or cold email doesn't faze you.
You can lead sales calls effortlessly -- you take charge, guide the conversation, and make clients feel confident they're in good hands.
You're persuasive but human -- you know how to listen, not just pitch.
You're organized, proactive, and know how to keep a sales pipeline alive.
You're genuinely excited about lifestyle brands (fashion, wellness, food, design).
You're entrepreneurial -- you see opportunities and go after them.
You've worked freelance or in a self-directed role before -- you're comfortable managing your own time and can adjust your schedule to connect with leads when they're available.
What Success Looks Like
Consistent flow of qualified leads each month.
Smooth handoff from first conversation ? proposal ? closed deal.
A growing pipeline that isn't reliant only on referrals.
You proactively bring fresh ideas for growth initiatives, put them into action, and keep momentum moving.
