The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business development within the recruitment or staffing industry, with a proven ability to generate leads, build relationships with clients, and close new business. This role demands excellent communication, negotiation, and client management skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify and develop new business opportunities in the staffing and recruitment space
Build and maintain strong relationships with HR managers, hiring managers, and decision-makers across various industries
Conduct client meetings, presentations, and negotiations to secure staffing contracts
Understand client hiring needs and propose appropriate staffing solutions
Collaborate with internal recruiters and delivery teams to ensure successful fulfillment of client requirements
Achieve or exceed monthly/quarterly business development targets and KPIs
Maintain a strong sales pipeline using CRM tools and provide regular reports on activity and results
Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments
Participate in networking events, trade shows, and industry-related activities to build brand awareness and generate leads
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Human Resources, or related field
2+ years of experience in business development or client acquisition in a staffing or recruitment agency
Strong understanding of the staffing/recruitment industry, including contract, permanent, and temp hiring
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
Ability to work independently and manage multiple accounts
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Preferred Qualifications:
Existing network of clients or industry contacts
Experience in niche staffing.
Knowledge of recruitment tools and applicant tracking systems (ATS)
