The Sales and Business Development Manager plays a critical role at Apex Precision Inc. This role will focus primarily on sales, customer service, and business development. This includes management of the purchasing and logistics team. Reporting directly to the General Manager, the Sales and Business Development Manager supports activities related to sales, customer service, purchasing, and logistics.

Responsibilities



Sales and Product Development

Manage business development and sales. Maintain relationships with customers. Develop new customers to contribute to the growth of the company. Resolve customer requests, discrepancies, and concerns for a positive experience. Manage and deliver projects to take Apex Precision to the next level. Maintain open communication with the production team for on-time order fulfillment. Continuously improve budgeting and costing. Oversee the day-to-day operations of the purchasing and logistics teams, implement and assign performance targets and KPIs, and ensure their completion. Apply all policies, procedures, standards, specifications, and training programs. To provide an effective solution to internal conflicts within the staff, in the mutual interest of all. Provide advice and feedback to help others improve. Improve existing logistics practices. Adhere to the company's standards of excellence and quality. Other tasks assigned by the Manager.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Sales, business, or a Professional degree in CNC Machining 5 years of sales experience and technical knowledge within an aerospace or CNC machining context is required Ability to understand technical drawings related to metal working Additional experience in Purchasing or Logistics is an asset. Strong written and oral communication skills, French and English are required to speak with customers and suppliers in Quebec, Canada, and international. Ability to effectively manage a team and tasks to meet tight deadlines. Ability to use Microsoft Office and an ERP effectively. Strong interpersonal skills and customer-oriented mindset. Ability to travel 25-30% of the time is required
