Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Roofer to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining roofing systems on residential and commercial properties. This role requires a strong understanding of roofing techniques, safety protocols, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Candidates with experience in construction, carpentry, or maintenance person work are encouraged to apply.

Duties

Install new roofing systems using various materials such as shingles, metal, or membrane roofing Repair and replace damaged or worn roofing components Measure and cut materials accurately using hand tools and blueprint reading skills Apply caulking and sealants to ensure waterproofing and energy efficiency Perform heavy lifting of roofing materials and equipment safely Use hand tools such as hammers, saws, and drills to complete tasks efficiently Inspect roofs for damage or potential issues and recommend appropriate solutions Maintain a clean and safe work site by adhering to safety standards and protocols Assist with other construction or carpentry tasks as needed

Requirements

Proven experience with hand tools, construction, carpentry, or maintenance person work preferred Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately Experience with caulking, sealing, and waterproofing techniques Physical strength to perform heavy lifting and work at heights comfortably Knowledge of safety procedures related to roofing and construction sites Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions Prior experience with blueprint reading is a plus
