4. Responsibilities: Leading a crew, assisting wherever needed, managing additional tasks

B. Mid Range Earner
1. Estimated Earnings: $65,000 - $85,000/year
2. Work Schedule: Monday to Saturday during shingle season 50-70 per week
3. Additional Qualifications:
a. Valid driver's license
b. Runs a snow removal route in winter
4. Responsibilities: Leading a shingle crew, ensuring quality work

III. Starting Earner
C. Newer Shingler or soley seasonal Shingle Roofer
1. Estimated Earnings: $45,000 - $65,000/year
2. Work Schedule: 44 -50hours/week during shingle season
3. Responsibilities: Basic shingling tasks

Position Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Shingle Roofer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail and commitment to safety. As a Shingle roofer, you will be responsible for installing shingle roofing and related materials.

Key Responsibilities;

Responsible for making sure that they work in a safe and respectable manner at all times including the mandatory use of their Fall Arrest Safety Gear and PPE (Safety Footwear, Eye Protection, Ear Protection, Skin Protection); Responsible for replacing damaged or rotting joists or plywood Responsible for installing underlayment materials as specified for each contract; Responsible for installing shingles, asphalt, metal or other materials to make the roof watertight; Responsible for cutting roofing materials to fit around walls or vents; Responsible for notifying the Roofing Manager and/or Supervisor of any materials that you require in advance (day before) in order to keep things moving forward; Represent the company in a professional manner at all times; Perform any other duties and tasks as may be directed by the Roofing Manager and/or Supervisor.
Education: High School Diploma (or equivalent) - Courses in math, shop, mechanical drawing and blueprint reading are considered helpful.

Experience: Ideally 4 or more Years Experience

Availability: Must be available Monday-Friday from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and weekends on an as needed basis

Qualifications:

Must be willing to work safely in the workplace; Knowledge of the proper use of equipment being used; Problem solving and the ability to adapt to changing situations and schedules; Courses in math, shop, mechanical drawing and blueprint reading are considered helpful; Able to work in inclement weather
