Experienced Roofer - Shingle & Metal (Residential)

We are currently hiring an experienced

Residential Roofer

to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on

shingle or metal roofing experience

who is also comfortable supporting labour tasks on-site as needed. If you take pride in your work, enjoy working outdoors, and want to grow within a skilled and supportive team -- we want to hear from you.

This position involves full tear-offs, installations, and repairs on residential pitched roofs. Experience with metal roofing systems is a strong asset. You'll also assist with prep, clean-up, and general labour duties to support the team and ensure high-quality project delivery.

Responsibilities

Install, repair, and replace

asphalt shingle roofing systems

Perform complete

tear-offs

, re-roofing, and inspections Assist with

metal roofing installations

when required (Standing Seam, Exposed Fastener, etc.) Load and unload roofing materials and equipment Ensure proper underlayment, flashing, and ventilation is installed Work at heights safely and follow all job site safety protocols Help with general labour tasks such as cleanup, organizing tools, and assisting other trades (siding, soffit, framing, etc.) Communicate clearly with crew leaders and support timely project completion Maintain a professional and respectful attitude on job sites

Requirements

Minimum 1 year of shingle roofing experience (required)

Experience with

metal roofing systems

(preferred but not required) Must be comfortable working at heights and on steep slopes Physically fit and able to lift up to 75 lbs Reliable transportation to and from job sites

Working at Heights Certification (required)

Familiar with hand tools, nail guns, hook knives, and safety equipment Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and willingness to assist with labour work when needed Must be able to follow instructions, prioritize safety, and work well with a team

Nice to Have (Assets)

WHMIS, First Aid, or CPR Certification Experience with siding, gutters, fascia, or framing Own basic tools and PPE (can be supplied if needed) Comfortable using apps for sign-ins and project tracking
