Job Overview


We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Restaurant Manager to oversee the daily operations of our establishment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in food service management, with a proven ability to lead a team, ensure exceptional customer service, and maintain high standards of food safety and quality. This role requires a hands-on approach to managing both front-of-house and back-of-house operations in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities



Supervise daily restaurant operations, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Manage staff training and development programs to enhance team performance and service quality. Oversee inventory control, including ordering supplies and managing stock levels effectively. Implement effective cash handling procedures and maintain accurate financial records. Utilize POS systems such as Micros POS for efficient order processing and reporting. Coordinate food preparation and cooking processes to ensure timely service during peak hours. Foster a positive dining experience by addressing customer inquiries and resolving complaints promptly. Monitor budgetary performance, controlling costs while maximizing profitability. Lead by example in maintaining cleanliness, organization, and operational excellence within the restaurant.

Requirements



Proven experience in restaurant management or related roles within the food industry. Strong knowledge of food handling, safety regulations, and culinary practices. Experience with inventory control and budgeting processes is essential. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively. Strong customer service orientation with excellent communication skills. Proficiency in cash handling procedures and financial reporting. Experience in kitchen management or culinary roles is advantageous. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
