Analyze budget to boost and maintain the restaurant's profits Evaluate daily operations Monitor revenues to determine labour cost Monitor staff performance Plan and organize daily operations Recruit staff Set staff work schedules Supervise staff Train staff Conduct performance reviews Enforce provincial/territorial liquor legislation and regulations Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food Supervise kitchen staff and helpers Order supplies and equipment Inspect kitchens and food service areas Clean kitchen and work areas Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
