Responsibilities
Supervise daily restaurant operations to ensure smooth workflow and excellent service delivery
Manage and motivate staff, including interviewing, hiring, training, and scheduling team members
Oversee food preparation and ensure adherence to food safety and hygiene standards
Handle cash transactions accurately using Micros POS or similar systems
Maintain high standards of customer service by addressing guest concerns promptly and professionally
Ensure compliance with health regulations and food safety protocols
Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers for timely procurement of supplies
Lead by example in hospitality, serving guests when necessary and fostering a positive team environment
Implement policies to improve operational efficiency and customer satisfaction
Conduct regular staff meetings to communicate updates, expectations, and feedback
Skills
Proven experience in restaurant management or hospitality leadership
Strong knowledge of food industry practices including food preparation, cooking, and food handling
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to resolve issues effectively
Proficiency with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms
Supervising experience with team management capabilities
Ability to interview and train new staff members effectively
Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper kitchen procedures
Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and manage diverse teams
Experience in cash handling and financial transactions
Familiarity with hotel or barista experience is a plus but not required
Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail in restaurant operations
