Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Restaurant Manager to oversee the daily operations of our restaurant. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the food industry, exceptional leadership skills, and a passion for providing outstanding customer service. This role requires effective team management, ensuring food safety standards are met, and maintaining a positive dining experience for all guests.

Duties

Supervise and coordinate daily restaurant operations, including staff management and scheduling. Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to ensure quality and consistency. Manage the Point of Sale (POS) system, including cash handling and transaction processing. Train, interview, and evaluate staff performance to foster a high-performing team environment. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including food handling and sanitation practices. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest inquiries and resolving complaints promptly. Maintain inventory levels and order supplies as needed to ensure smooth operations. Collaborate with kitchen staff to develop menu items that reflect current trends and customer preferences. Implement marketing strategies to promote the restaurant and increase patronage.

Skills

Proven experience in restaurant management or a similar role within the food service industry. Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen operations. Proficiency in using POS systems, particularly Micros POS, for efficient transaction management. Excellent supervisory skills with a focus on team management and development. Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling. Leadership qualities that inspire teamwork and motivate staff to achieve their best performance. Experience in interviewing candidates and conducting training sessions for new hires. Background in hospitality or barista experience is a plus, enhancing overall guest experience.
