Responsibilities

Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards. Assist in meal preparation, ensuring all ingredients are fresh and properly stored. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety regulations. Cutting/Chopping of Vegetables and Non-Veg. Keep kitchen/storage areas clean and organized according to health/safety procedures Work with various ingredients such as spices, vegetables and Non-Veg. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours. Monitor food inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed. Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure the safety of all dishes served. Participate in training new kitchen staff on cooking techniques and safety protocols.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant environment is preferred. Knowledge of food handling, preparation, and safety standards within the food industry. Basic knowledge of kitchen work is recommended Need to be punctual and able to work in a fast paced environment. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with other staff members. A passion for cooking and a willingness to learn new techniques and recipes. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $17.20-$23.53 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 20 per week
