Respite Worker Needed in Entwistle - Wednesdays 4:00-7:00 PM
MultilinguAbilities (MLA) is currently looking for a
Respite Worker
to support a friendly and sweet 8-year-old child inEntwistle, Alberta
.Location:
Entwistle, ABSchedule:
Every Wednesday, 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM or Minimum 1 time per weekCompensation:
$18-$20/hour (depending on experience)Contract Type:
Hourly contract as an independent contractorAbout the Role:
This is a part-time position providing
respite services
--temporary care and companionship for children with disabilities, allowing families a short break. The child is neurodivergent and may be on the autism spectrum. We are looking for someone who ispatient, caring, and enjoys spending time with children

While this position is based in Entwistle,
MLA also works with multiple clients across Edmonton and surrounding areas
, which may allow foradditional hours per week
if you're open to working with other families.Ideal Candidate:
? Lives in or near Entwistle (or can travel there weekly)
? Has experience working with children, especially those who are neurodivergent or autistic
? Is dependable, punctual, and nurturing
? Comfortable working as an
independent contractor
