Job Description

Position Summary

As a Property Manager you will be responsible for all aspects of the operations of a portfolio of 200 unfurnished residential units. You will be working directly with clients as well as directly and collaboratively with the CEO, VP, and various key staff at the company to ensure smooth operations and client satisfaction. This position is best suited to candidates with strong interpersonal abilities including relationship building, problem solving, and negotiation skills among others.

Property Management Roles

Direct interaction with Martello clients and working proactively to achieve their objectives

Negotiating new leases and renewals in collaboration with clients and external leasing agents

Annual budgeting, monthly reporting and regular interaction with the accounting department

Proactively handling maintenance issues and tenant service requests in concert with Martello's site team

Qualification/Skills

A University or College related diploma in real estate or business

Licensed to provide Rental Property Management in Alberta.

3-year minimum experience managing residential properties

RPA, CPM or a Diploma in Urban Land Economics are an advantage

Attention to detail and ability to work systematically to keep files and information up to date; ability to absorb information

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills

Strong ability to work in collaborative environments

Strong skills with Microsoft Office suite of products. Yardi experience is an asset

Self-starter and able to work independently

Outgoing / Friendly

A valid Driver's license and a reliable vehicle are a must for this role.
