This is a full-time permanent job opportunity working 40 hours a week.

Salary depending on qualifications and experience. Starting rate is $45,000 a year. We are looking for a talented and motivated Residential Leasing Professional to report to the Leasing Manager. As a Leasing Professional, you will be an integral member of a team, assisting in the development and implementation of unique and creative leasing strategies. The duties include but not limited to:



Key Responsibilities

Greet, qualify and build rapport with all prospective residents on the phone or in person Show occupied and vacant apartment homes with specific leasing goals in mind Ensure online applications are completed promptly, correctly and in full Complete traffic reports, vacancy reports and related paperwork and submit to appropriate manager Maintain waitlists and database daily and follow up with recent prospective residents Enhance resident satisfaction and retention Participate in on-going sales training to improve sales techniques and closing ratios Report any interior or exterior property deficiencies to management Visit competitive properties to stay informed on market conditions and complete monthly competitor reports Execute all work in a safe and professional manner in compliance with Occupational Health and Safety Legislation Ensure local, provincial and federal laws and regulations are being observed at the community Typical schedule is Tuesday to Saturday, with possible changes or overtime as required

Qualifications



Education & Experience

High School Graduate; Post-Secondary Education an asset A minimum of 2 years' experience in a sales or customer service role is required

Knowledge, skills, and abilities:



Strong aptitude for sales and customer service Above average communication skills, written and verbal Proficient computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) Possess strong interpersonal skills and organizational skills High degree of professionalism and dedication to all stakeholders Candidate must have excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize work Must be flexible and adaptable to meet responsibilities as required Appearance must be neat, clean, and professional Highly organized, results oriented and ability to work in a multi-functional team environment. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while ensuring high standards of work. Security clearance required upon offer of employment

* Valid Manitoba Driver's License and reliable vehicle for use in visiting multiple locations throughout the city when needed.
