Summary The Research Scientist I is responsible for ensuring high-quality analysis, review and interpretation of data; They perform the analysis of data to ensure scientific integrity, compliance with SOP/CSP and applicable regulatory requirements. The Research Scientist I works closely with the supervisors of the Data Analysis Unit, the Scientific Team, and the Flow Cytometry Specialist to address technical/scientific and general project issues; They interact with Quality Assurance to address quality issues. Responsibilities

  • Analyzes data as per Cellcarta guidelines and ensures scientific integrity and compliance with SOP/CSP.
  • Reviews data analyzed by other analysts and reports data as needed or instructed.
  • Assists as required in the organization of study data and associated information required for interim and final study reports.
  • Escalates issues in a timely manner to their supervisor to determine the following steps to be taken.
  • Prepares for and attends the Study Initiation Meeting (SIM) and all other meetings affecting the project that may impact the data analysis.
  • Supports the PS in the workplan preparation.
  • Creates, reviews and updates analysis tools when applicable
  • Verifies all the runs of the project:
    • To provide feedback to their supervisor to harmonize the analysis.
    • To determine if any trends or conclusions can be drawn from the analyzed runs
    • To prepare figures/presentations
  • Efficient communication across teams, participation in troubleshooting and independent problem solving
  • Employee is personally responsible for following ImmuneCarta Services Health and Safety guidelines/instructions.
  • Performs other duties as assigned
Education
  • Ph.D. or equivalent training in life sciences, preferably in immunology or virology.
Main Requirements
  • Deep knowledge of human immunology;
  • Knowledge and understanding of the English language sufficient to write and carry out procedures and protocols;
  • Strong computer skills and significant experience with Microsoft Excel;
  • Detail-oriented person;
  • Committed to achieving good quality work;
  • Deep knowledge of immune monitoring methodologies and flow cytometry techniques;
  • Knowledge and understanding of GLP regulations sufficient to carry out GLP studies;
  • Excellent data analysis and interpretation skills;
  • Approaches work methodically and systematically;
  • Highly proficient at working in a fast-paced and multi-tasking environment.
