Job Description

We are seeking a full-time, permanent

Renovation Specialist

for our multi-family and commercial portfolio in the Greater Edmonton region. A variety of duties include:

Complete renovation tasks such as flooring installation, drywall (including mudding and taping), painting, tile work, and trim finishing (e.g., baseboards, casings)

Perform minor plumbing tasks including re-plumbing kitchen sinks with new P-traps and installing new faucets

Carry out minor electrical work as required (e.g., installing light fixtures, replacing switches/outlets)

Install or replace building components such as doors, blinds, fixtures, and other finish materials

Collaborate with other team members and trades on renovation projects

Track time and work progress using smartphone software

Requirements

The successful candidate will demonstrate or provide:

Minimum 2-years of experience in renovation or general contracting,

Their own basic hand tools and toolbelt,

Their own reliable vehicle with the appropriate licensing to operate the vehicle,

Their own smart-phone and associated voice and data plan,

A clear background check,

Availability to go on-call for one week every 5 to 6 weeks to respond to after-hours issues

Bonus Skills

Experience in any of the following areas will be considered a strong asset:

Working with radiant heating systems
Siding installation or repair
Carpet installation

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $25.00-$32.00 per hour
