Our Terra Nova Team has an exciting opportunity available as the Reliability Integrity Engineer. The role will provide a great opportunity for cross functional development in many areas such as Reliability, Maintenance & Operations.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering and Professional Engineering designation
  • 5-10 years related experience in the petro-chemical/ oil and gas business with desired experience in fixed and floating production systems, topsides facilities and offshore operations support
  • Working knowledge of ASME B31.3, ASME Section VIII Div. 1, API 571 and post construction codes such as ASME PCC-1, PCC-2, API 510 and API 570
  • Materials / Corrosion Engineering background
  • Knowledge and experience in safety, environmental and loss prevention process and practices
  • Familiar with fabric maintenance, NDE techniques and RBI
  • Knowledge of Transport Canada Regulations and Lloyd\xe2\x80\x99s Register ship rules
  • Computer fluent MS/Office and experience with SAP
Responsibilities:
  • Provide Asset Integrity support (Piping and Pressure Vessels) for engineering and maintenance related tasks based on priorities assigned by the Manager of Integrity Engineering
  • Tasks include reviewing inspection reports for stationary pressure equipment and fabric maintenance, raising corrective notifications and revising inspection plans within GE APM based on inspection results
  • Developing scopes of work for ad-hoc inspection campaigns
  • Support maintenance planning and preparation activities through detailed work definition and respond to requests for engineering support related to stationary pressure equipment
  • Ensure adherence to the Management of Change policies and procedures
Location and other Key Details:
  • You will work out of our St. John\xe2\x80\x99s office, located at 130 Kelsey Drive
  • This job is located onshore in an office environment but will require infrequent offshore travel via helicopter to the Terra Nova FPSO.
  • Hours of work are a regular 40-hour work week, Monday to Friday
  • Extended hours of work will potentially be required during the turnaround and other project work
  • This position is safety sensitive
  • Qualified residents of the province of Newfoundland and Labrador will be given first consideration in the staffing of this position
