In this vital role, you\xe2\x80\x99ll help lead our reliability personnel in developing the management infrastructure for maintenance including Preventative Maintenance Optimization, Condition Based Monitoring, Daily Accountability processes and work management. You will also be responsible for establishing standards for the day-to-day tasks for personnel associated with maintenance and reliability performed throughout the site and check the execution of those standards to drive continuous improvement efforts in asset reliability.

Essential Accountabilities:

Ensure the development of processes, standards, and equipment that meet safety codes, policies, guidelines, and achieve business objectives, as well as ensuing the application of best practices for operations and maintenance.

Establish preventative and predictive maintenance based on criticality.

Develop condition-based maintenance system that shifts work from preventative-based maintenance to condition-based maintenance when possible.

Work with Mill Reliability Manager to standardize planning and scheduling practices and provide coaching and capability development in SAP, as well as establishing Leader Standard Work for daily and weekly routines.

Maintain mill SAP Master Data and collaborate with capital teams to ensure new programs are set up in SAP in a timely manner.

Work with operations to apply Autonomous Care Improvement Team and Quick Change (SMED) principles and to develop and continually optimize the down management standard for mill outages.

Optimize PM tasks on an annual basis and provide monthly analytics for PM completion.

Support the development of strategic plans for reliability improvements in the facility and ensure mill input is considered in these plans by working with staff teams.

Perform safety responsibilities such as participating in or leading the safety action team, facilitating the adoption of new technologies to improve site safety and eliminating non-compliant tasks.

Optimize quality by ensuring maintenance and reliability work is captured in the CMMS system (SAP) and planned work meets a minimum standard for data integrity.

Build reliability capability including MRP/CMMS (SAP system), Reliability Solutions Centre (RSC) system, P2020 and others as appropriate.

Identify strategic objectives for others to support reliability initiatives.

Represent the site and work directly with other sites and the staff team on common objectives and priority activities, such as safety call-to-action initiatives.

Perform failure analysis and problem solving to determine root cause of failures.

Support Reliability and Maintenance Leader in day-to-day operations as assigned.

This role reports to the Maintenance Manager.

To succeed in this role, you will need the following qualifications:

Bachelor\'s degree in engineering or equivalent from an accredited college or university.

3+ years relevant experience in an industrial/manufacturing environment or Red Seal trade with reliability experience.

Certification as Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional (CMRP) or Certified Reliability Leader (CRL).

Strong Interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral) as well as advanced computer skills (MS Excel, Word)

Experience in engineering, lean manufacturing, maintenance or industrialized manufacturing and proven ability to problem solve in a manufacturing environment.

Ability to organize, influence, and lead a multi-functional team providing guidance for work direction and mentoring.

Experience with SAP system.

Proficient in AutoCAD and Solidworks; engineering design software.

Preferred Qualifications:

Supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
