RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Follow the McCain safety, loss prevention and environmental programs by holding themselves and all team members accountable to its tenets
• Manage or assist with multi-million dollar capital projects
• Assists Maintenance Manager with reliability analysis of new designs to determine system, asset and component reliability
• Makes specific recommendations to the Maintenance Management Team to improve machinery performance and reliability based on analysis of process and failure data
• Assist those maintaining and developing reliability KPI\xe2\x80\x99s (% worker utilization, % schedule adherence, etc.) in conformance with McCain standards
• Direct and lead the maintenance of a record keeping system consistent with a world class reliability program
• Responsible to perform statistical analysis on machinery failure data and work order data to determine whether adjustments to the Engineered Maintenance Strategy are warranted and perform cost/benefit analysis to set correct frequency of task(s)
• Leads the Root Cause Failure Analysis effort for sporadic equipment failures and ensure failure modes addressed are appropriate
• Additional duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree or advanced degree in engineering or a relevant scientific discipline and equivalent experience

Certified Maintenance Reliability Professional (CMRP) designation is an asset

Ultrasonic, Thermography, Lubrication, and Vibration Analysis training is an asset

5+ years of work experience in an industrial manufacturing environment

An expert in Plant PLC Systems and Programming

Competent Computer Skills (ex. MS Office)

Can communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in written work

Strong analytical skills (ex. root cause analysis and statistical analysis)

Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, schematics and computer-generated reports

Displays vision and demonstrates both personal and organizational sensitivity

Strong organizational, interpersonal, and presentation skills

Prior experience working within SAP is a strong asset.
