Our fast, cost effective, solutions-oriented approach has ensured client satisfaction and has established Quality Smart Solutions as the preferred partner in science and compliance. : The Regulatory Administrator will be supporting team members and working with international clients to assist in pricing of services and information collection as part of the onboarding process, maintenance of submissions and assist the regulatory team in various other regulatory and technical areas. The position is a full-time remote-based position. Responsiblities: \xc2\xb7 Collect information from clients prior to project commencement \xc2\xb7 Prepare reports on safety and efficacy of ingredients and formula \xc2\xb7 Conduct literature reviews using search engines, online databases such as PubMed, NMCD and compendiums \xc2\xb7 Where required, engage with client on project information and data gathering \xc2\xb7 Communicate with Health Canada on submission status \xc2\xb7 Represent the company at tradeshows or conferences and be able to approach prospective clients. \xc2\xb7 Update project tracker and project management software where applicable \xc2\xb7 Other tasks as requested by team members and/or management Experience/Skills/Education qualifications: \xc2\xb7 Canadian accredited Undergraduate university degree in Science or Canadian accredited Diploma/ Post Graduate certificate in Regulatory Affairs \xc2\xb7 0-1 year experience in a natural health products, food, consumer packaged goods or pharmaceutical environment \xc2\xb7 Experience in a consulting firm environment an asset \xc2\xb7 Health Canada contacts an asset \xc2\xb7 Ability to perform literature and information searches with such online databases as PubMed, Cochrane, Google Scholar, NMCD \xc2\xb7 Can quickly review journal articles and determine relevancy for product license projects \xc2\xb7 Fluent in spoken and written English a requirement. French is a bonus. \xc2\xb7 Fully understands and has had some experience with the Natural Health Products, Food and Cosmetic regulations \xc2\xb7 Computer skills in internet search engines, Microsoft Word, Excel \xc2\xb7 Excellent verbal and written and grammatical skills \xc2\xb7 An outgoing personality (ability to approach new prospects at conventions or tradeshows) \xc2\xb7 Strong critical thinking and finding ways to improve processes \xc2\xb7 Capable of conflict resolution with clients \xc2\xb7 Well versed in medical and regulatory terminology \xc2\xb7 Excellent problem recognition and resolutions skills \xc2\xb7 Ability to work independently with little supervision \xc2\xb7 Ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines \xc2\xb7 Attention to detail and high level of accuracy \xc2\xb7 Ability to learn new regulations and execute on deliverables \xc2\xb7 Experience in international regulatory affairs an asset (USA, UK, EU, South America in particular) Quality Smart Solutions is an equal opportunity employer.
