Job Title: Registered Psychotherapist or Registered Social Worker

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Psychotherapist to join Modern Resilience Therapy. The ideal candidate will provide psychotherapy services to individual adult clients (and couples and/or children if the candidate so wishes but this is not required).

This position requires the candidate to be available to work in person in Woodstock, Ontario once or twice per week. In-person therapy appears to be in demand and the more in-person hours that are available, the faster we anticipate the successful candidate's practice will grow.

We have new office space which will be ready on November 1, 2025 (at the address noted in the posting). The start date is flexible, but in-person sessions could not start until after this date.

Modern Resilience Therapy specializes in working with high-achieving professionals and students on issues such as stress, anxiety, burnout, and more. The posting will remain open until a suitable candidate is found.

Duties:
- Conduct individual therapy sessions (or couples, if this is part of the candidate's skill set)
- Utilize the Jane practice management system provided by Modern Resilience Therapy
- Maintain their own schedule (including their online booking availability) and client notes, as well as ensure payment of client sessions
- submit monthly invoices to Modern Resilience Therapy
- Arrange for their own supervision, as required by the CRPO or the College of Social Workers

Mandatory Qualifications:
- Registered with CRPO or the College of Social Workers in good standing
- Completed Masters' degree
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in Woodstock, Ontario, at least one day per week (or one "day" spread out over 2 evenings, 2 mornings, etc.)
- Candidate must have a suitable work space (quiet, private, professional or neutral background) and suitable technology for virtual psychotherapy (a stable internet connection, high quality camera, audio, etc.). as well as a reliable method of transportation to Woodstock, Ontario for in-person sessions.

Assets:
- Experience with Jane
- Training in EMDR
- Experience with couples, or a desire to work with couples
- Experience with or desire to work with children

Benefits:
- Flexible schedule - the candidate will make their own schedule and set their own hours (though at least some evening or weekend availability is recommended to help build the candidate's caseload). Candidates would be expected to have at least 10 hours of availability per week to start
