Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to our patients, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction throughout their visit. The Dental Hygienist will work closely with the dentist and other staff members to deliver comprehensive oral health services, educate patients on proper dental hygiene practices, and maintain a clean and organized work environment. SPECIFICALLY LOOKING FOR SOMEONE TO WORK FRIDAY 10AM - 6PM AND SATURDAY 10AM - 6PM

Duties

Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing teeth Conduct patient assessments and record medical histories Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits Assist in the management of patient records using Oryx software Collaborate with the dental team to provide orthodontic care when necessary Provide support in pediatric dentistry, ensuring a comfortable experience for young patients Maintain strict adherence to infection control protocols and safety standards Deliver exceptional customer service to enhance patient satisfaction

Requirements

Valid state license to practice as a Dental Hygienist Experience with Oryx software is preferred Knowledge of orthodontics and pediatric dentistry is a plus Bilingual candidates are highly encouraged to apply Previous experience in a dental office setting is advantageous Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients of all ages Familiarity with medical terminology related to dental care Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment while maintaining professionalism

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $48.00-$55.00 per hour
