Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about providing exceptional patient care and promoting oral health. As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a crucial role in educating patients about oral hygiene, performing dental cleanings, and assisting in various dental procedures. Your expertise will contribute to creating a positive experience for our patients while ensuring the highest standards of dental care.

Duties

Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations to assess patients' oral health. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits. Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed. Document patient treatment plans, progress notes, and medical histories accurately. Assist the dentist during procedures by providing necessary instruments and support. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to infection control protocols. Collaborate with the dental team to ensure optimal patient care and satisfaction. Stay updated on advancements in dental hygiene practices and technologies.

Qualifications

Valid license to practice as a Dental Hygienist. Minimum 1 year experience practicing in a dental office is required Knowledge of medical terminology and familiarity with Dentrix software is advantageous. Experience or interest in pediatrics or orthodontics is a plus. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply, as this can enhance patient communication. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with patients of all ages. Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of care.
