Role Overview
As a Registered Clinical Counsellor, you'll be part of a supportive environment where your work makes a lasting difference.
You'll help children and teens build emotional regulation, resilience, and strategies to thrive with ADHD and ASD.
This is a hybrid role with both in-person sessions at our Langley office and virtual sessions for clients across BC.
Responsibilities
Support children and teens in building emotional regulation, resilience, and coping strategies.
Provide counselling sessions that empower kids with ADHD and ASD to thrive in daily life.
Collaborate with neurotherapists, nutritionists, and cognitive trainers on integrated care plans.
Maintain timely session documentation within JaneApp (our EMR system).
Qualifications (Required)
Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) in good standing with BCACC.
Minimum one year of counselling experience with children, OR over 400 in-person counselling hours with kids.
Formal training and demonstrated experience in
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT).
Experience in
Executive Cognitive Training
(supporting attention, working memory, organization, and self-regulation skills).
Training/experience in child and adolescent counselling.
Knowledge of ADHD, ASD, and emotional regulation.
Strong communication and boundary-setting skills.
Comfortable with technology (Zoom, EMR, digital tools).
Desirable (Not Required)
ADHD or neurodivergent conditions course certificates.
Training in Play Therapy, DBT, or Family Counselling.
Experience collaborating in multidisciplinary teams.

$90-$100/hour, starting, based on years of experience.
