Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC)

specializing in child and youth therapy to join our multidisciplinary team in Coquitlam.

Job Type

: Part-time or Full-time (Flexible scheduling)

Compensation

: $90-$120 per hour, based on experience and qualifications

Location

: Coquitlam, BC (In-person sessions preferred; hybrid options available)
- Responsibilities:

Provide individual therapy to children and adolescents experiencing a range of mental health challenges. Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans. Collaborate with families, schools, and other professionals to support client progress. Maintain accurate and confidential clinical records in accordance with ethical guidelines. Participate in team meetings and contribute to a collaborative clinic environment.
- Qualifications:

Registration

: Must be a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) in good standing with the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors.

Experience

: Minimum of 2 years providing therapy to children and adolescents.

Education

: Master's degree in Counselling Psychology or a related field.

Skills

: Proficient in evidence-based therapeutic modalities suitable for children and youth (e.g., CBT, play therapy).

Assets

: Experience with trauma-informed care and working within a multidisciplinary team.
