Summary
We are looking for an experienced Regional Controller to join our dynamic finance team. Reporting to the Vice President of Finance and the CFO, this role will play a pivotal part in financial reporting, driving operational insights, and supporting business decisions.
Responsibilities
Lead monthly financial reviews and provide actionable insights for improvement.
Collaborate with key management to prepare detailed variance analyses and performance reports.
Support acquisition due diligence and pro forma analysis alongside corporate development.
Optimize productivity and cost management initiatives to boost profitability.
Drive budgeting and forecasting processes with location managers.
Assist in accounting system migrations, KPI implementation, and special projects.
Analyze financial metrics like route and customer profitability and retention strategies.
Support AR collection processes, capital requests, and ensure strict policy adherence.
Qualifications
Education: Post-secondary degree with a CPA designation.
2+ years of exp4erience in a controller type function
Strong knowledge of accounting, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
Skilled in team collaboration and able to work independently when needed.
2+ years of Leadership experience is a must
Expertise in decision-making, organization, and multi-tasking.
Ability to meet tight deadlines and deliver high-quality reporting.
Strong interpersonal, written communication, and presentation skills.
Experience with Sage accounting software is an asset.
