We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Executive Chef to lead our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the food industry, demonstrating exceptional leadership and management skills. As the Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all kitchen operations, ensuring the highest standards of food preparation, presentation, and safety are met. You will play a crucial role in menu development, staff training, and maintaining a positive dining experience for our guests.
Duties
Supervise and manage kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.
Oversee food preparation processes to ensure quality and consistency in every dish served.
Develop innovative menus that reflect current culinary trends while meeting residents preferences.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures.
Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed to maintain kitchen operations.
Train and mentor kitchen staff in cooking techniques, food presentation, and sanitation practices.
Collaborate with senior living community management to create special events or themed menus that enhance guest experiences.
Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen to promote a safe working environment.
Qualifications
Proven experience in senior living culinary management or a similar leadership role within the culinary field.
Strong background in food preparation, cooking techniques, and food service operations.
Excellent team management skills with the ability to motivate and inspire staff members.
In-depth knowledge of food safety standards and regulations within the hospitality industry.
Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail in both food presentation and kitchen operations.
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards.
