CEDA is looking for a full time Recruitment Specialist to join our team out of our Calgary location. This role is responsible for developing and executing effective recruitment strategies, partnering with hiring leaders across Canada and the U.S., and ensuring a high-quality candidate experience from start to finish. The successful candidate will also support and represent CEDA at career fairs and industry events.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:
Partner closely with hiring leaders to develop targeted and impactful recruitment strategies tailored to each specific role, ensuring successful placement of qualified candidates in vacant positions
Partner with hiring leaders from all of CEDA's regions and services lines (Canada and US) to develop job descriptions and advertisements that accurately reflect the ideal candidate profile (or something)
Assess job descriptions against market data or seek compensation review when necessary
Ensure a high-quality recruitment process with integrity and approvals in line with CEDA's procedures
Manage candidates, including internal, direct referrals, and facilitate interviews with guidance on selection decisions
Provide verbal offers, and write and deliver written employment offer letters
Attend career fairs, conferences, and establish relationships with industry contacts, schools, and universities
Support social media recruitment campaigns by creating engaging, brand-aligned content to attract top talent and promote CEDA's culture and career opportunities
Other duties as assigned, some travel is required
Role Specifications:
3-5 years' experience in recruitment (talent acquisition) or people-facing human resources role
Bachelor's degree in business administration, human resources or equivalent is preferred
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Valid Class 5 Drivers licence with no more than 5 demerits in the last 3 years is required
