Position Summary



The Student Recruitment Specialist plays a key role in promoting the College's programs and building meaningful connections with prospective students. This position is responsible for identifying new audiences, cultivating interest in our offerings, and supporting the admissions team by generating and qualifying student leads. With a focus on outreach and engagement, this role blends relationship-building, marketing coordination, and student-centered advising.

Key Responsibilities



Outreach & Engagement

Represent the College at high schools, job fairs, community events, and promotional sessions to build awareness and interest. Collaborate with community groups, employment centers, and partner organizations to grow the recruitment pipeline.
Prospect Identification & Support

Identify and qualify prospective students aligned with program offerings and admission criteria. Maintain accurate records and communications within the College's CRM system. Support prospective students with early-stage guidance around program selection and application steps.
Marketing & Campaign Coordination

Work with the marketing team to align messaging, targeting, and campaigns with recruitment goals. Assist in tracking lead sources and evaluating outreach effectiveness. Help design and deliver recruitment materials and presentations.

Performance & Incentives



Recruitment activity and prospect development will be tracked through monthly performance metrics. Bonus eligibility tied to successful enrolment outcomes and team targets.

Qualifications



Post-secondary diploma or degree in Marketing, Education, Business, or related field. Minimum of 2 years' experience in student recruitment, community outreach, sales, or customer engagement. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills. Strong organizational and follow-up abilities. Familiarity with CRM systems and recruitment technology is an asset. Flexibility to work evenings or weekends during recruitment cycles.
