Physiomed is a multi-disciplinary patient care organization with clinics located in the GTA and surrounding regions. Physiomed offers a complete range of coordinated rehabilitative services that includes: physiotherapy, chiropractic, registered massage therapy, chiropody, athletic therapy, nutritional counseling, acupuncture, naturopathy, clinical conditioning, and medical products.Essential Job Functions:

• Reception for a busy clinic with multiple health practitioners.
• Welcome new and existing patients and visitors in a very friendly, welcoming, approachable manner.
• Receive phone calls and be able to prioritize calls and real-time patient interaction.
• Must have dynamic and energetic personality with a passion for promoting health and wellness.
• Operate point of sale transaction terminal for accepting cash, credit and debit payments.
• Schedule patients for treatments and consultations.
• Inform patients of costs of care being provided and guide them to appropriate resources for further information or assistance.
• Answer telephone, screen callers, relay messages.
• Operate computer to access electronic medical records, schedules and other basic office support software.
• Communicating with insurance companies (extended health, motor vehicle accident and WSIB).
• Invoicing and collecting through online billing portals (Telus Health, Provider Connect, Sun Life etc.)
• Requires 30-40 hours per week, and will include some evenings until 8pm
