As the Receptionist/Administrative Assistant, you will be the first point of contact to greet visitors in person, answer and refer all inbound telephone calls, assist with internal meetings, accountable for all inbound and outbound mails, coordinate office supplies, etc. If you have a great attitude and a willingness to learn, we will also provide training to help you become successful in your role. Your responsibilities include: * Respond and redirect to the appropriate individuals in a timely manner telephone, e-mail, and in-person inquiries from visitors, customers, employees or other parties; * Organize and maintain reception area; * Maintain meeting schedules as required and support meetings with activities including catering arrangement, supply of coffee and water, room set up and clean-up; * Responsible for all mails by sorting inbounding mails and referring to the appropriate individuals in a timely manner; * Organize couriers as required; * Organize and file documents as per company guidelines; * Maintain and order office supplies including stationary, coffee, water, etc; * Present a positive and professional image of the company to all visitors, phone calls, inquiries and other interactions; * Other duties as assigned. YOU ARE * Reliable and punctual * A person with a strong sense of accountability * Organized, detailed oriented, willing to learn, and open to continuous improvement * Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written) * Willing to step up and help out where needed YOU HAVE * Post-secondary certificate or diploma in Office Administration with one years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in an office environment, or a combination of education and experience will be considered * Ability to work independently and within a team environment * Proficiency with MS Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook * Proactive and flexible attitude to meet changing work needs and demands Talius will provide to you: * Extended health benefits * Contribution to your RRSP plan (eligibility criteria apply) * Positive work environment * Opportunity for continuous learning and career development ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Talius is an equitable employer.
