We are seeking a
Real Estate & Property Intelligence Associate
to support the
Director of Real Estate Services
and
Property Strategy Managers
. This role blends traditional real estate expertise with digital innovation -- helping bridge the gap between property transactions, regulatory intelligence, and data-driven automation.
Key Responsibilities
Negotiate and Facilitate Property Interests:
Support the purchase, sale, and licensing of property interests -- including rights-of-way, easements, and minor leases -- for UnlockLand's clients and municipal partners through digital workflows and AI-supported valuation models.
Portfolio Administration:
Manage UnlockLand's property intelligence database, ensuring up-to-date information on residential, commercial, and investment assets for reporting, feasibility, and compliance.
Transaction Coordination:
Organize and track surveys, appraisals, legal opinions, and environmental assessments for properties being acquired, sold, or analyzed on the platform.
Assessment & Zoning Analysis:
Review assessment data, zoning parameters, and market trends to support client decision-making and AI model training; assist in digital rezoning or subdivision feasibility studies.
Research & Advisory:
Conduct in-depth research into property ownership, valuation, title, and encumbrances to support strategic acquisitions and land-use planning initiatives.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Work closely with the AI, product, and investment analytics teams to refine UnlockLand's property data pipeline and enhance the accuracy of automated feasibility outputs.
Administrative & Reporting Support:
Prepare draft client memos, partnership summaries, and internal reports; support the Director and Managers in executing key real estate service initiatives.
Qualifications
Minimum
3-5 years
of related experience in real estate, property administration, or land development.
Degree or diploma in
Real Estate, Urban Land Economics, Geography, or Business Administration
(or equivalent combination of education and experience).
Knowledge of
municipal land processes
, zoning, conveyance, and valuation principles.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently within a collaborative team.
Familiarity with GIS tools, CRM systems, or property analytics platforms.
Valid BC driver's license (preferred).
