Overview


We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Operations Manager to help guide our operational strategies and enhance efficiency within our organization. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and strong organizational skills. This role is crucial for ensuring that our business processes run smoothly and effectively, contributing to overall organizational success.

Duties



day-to-day management of tenant relationship, including but not limited to answering tenant correspondences and telephone calls, addressing tenant complaints, validating monthly rent, acting as a liaison between the Companies and the tenants residing in the units; overseeing renovations related to the property, including but not limited to assessing the scope of work as it relates to renovations in tenanted properties, obtaining quotes for the scope of work, scheduling and supervising contractors on site, acting as a liaison between the Companies and the contractors doing renovation work in the unit, providing the Companies with regular updates on progress; scoping out new potential market opportunities, including but not limited to, researching and appraising new potential purchases or other projects, assessing and differentiating between potential projects to assess value and risk, researching any costs that would be incurred with respect to a project that might affect the cost/risk/value of the project; assisting the Companies with any real estate listings with respect to selling or renting the property/unit, including but not limited to transcribing information on offers to buy, sell or brokerage contracts, assisting with staging for viewings and hiring someone to stage the property if necessary, coordinating with real estate agents and/or potential purchases for requests of information and scheduling of viewings, acting as a liaison between any real estate firm and/or any potential buyer or tenant and the Companies; managing tenancies and corresponding with property manager to ensure units are rented and income is being generated. assisting with any correspondences with the city on any permitting or development plans. any other tasks related to the management of the properties owned by the Companies during the term of this Agreement.

Experience



Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field is preferred. Proven experience as an Operations Manager or similar role in a fast-paced environment. Excellent leadership skills and strong organizational skills with the ability to motivate teams and drive results. Proficient in data analysis and performance metrics; experience with relevant software tools is a plus. Exceptional problem-solving abilities with a strategic mindset. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively at all levels of the organization. Need to be able to commute to all properties on a regular basis. Even better if you have a car.

Gestion quotidienne des relations avec les locataires, incluant, sans s'y limiter : repondre aux correspondances et appels telephoniques des locataires, traiter les plaintes, valider les loyers mensuels, agir comme intermediaire entre les societes et les locataires des unites; Supervision des renovations liees aux proprietes, incluant, sans s'y limiter : evaluer l'ampleur des travaux dans les unites occupees, obtenir des soumissions, planifier et superviser les entrepreneurs sur place, agir comme intermediaire entre les societes et les entrepreneurs, fournir aux societes des mises a jour regulieres sur l'avancement des travaux; Etudier de nouvelles opportunites de marche, incluant, sans s'y limiter : rechercher et evaluer de nouveaux achats ou projets potentiels, analyser et comparer les projets pour en determiner la valeur et les risques, rechercher les couts eventuels lies a un projet pouvant avoir un impact sur sa rentabilite ou son risque; Assister les societes avec les inscriptions immobilieres liees a la vente ou a la location des proprietes/unites, incluant, sans s'y limiter : transcrire les informations relatives aux offres d'achat, de vente ou aux contrats de courtage, aider a la mise en valeur des unites pour les visites et embaucher un specialiste en home staging au besoin, coordonner avec les courtiers immobiliers et/ou acheteurs ou locataires potentiels pour les demandes d'information et la planification des visites, agir comme intermediaire entre toute agence immobiliere, tout acheteur ou locataire potentiel et les societes; Gerer les baux et correspondre avec le gestionnaire immobilier afin de s'assurer que les unites sont louees et que les revenus sont generes. Aider aux correspondances avec la ville concernant les permis ou les plans de developpement. Effectuer toute autre tache liee a la gestion des proprietes appartenant aux societes pendant la duree de la presente entente.

Experience



Diplome universitaire en administration des affaires, gestion des operations ou dans un domaine connexe (prefere). Experience confirmee en tant que gestionnaire des operations ou role similaire dans un environnement dynamique. Excellentes competences en leadership et en organisation, avec la capacite de motiver les equipes et d'obtenir des resultats. Maitrise de l'analyse de donnees et des indicateurs de performance; l'experience avec des outils logiciels pertinents est un atout. Excellentes aptitudes a resoudre des problemes avec une approche strategique. Solides competences en communication, tant a l'oral qu'a l'ecrit, avec la capacite d'interagir efficacement a tous les niveaux de l'organisation. Doit etre en mesure de se deplacer regulierement vers toutes les proprietes; posseder une voiture est un atout.
