We are hiring a Real Estate Law Clerk for a full-time, in-person role. The clerk will provide reception and administrative support and manage residential/commercial real estate files from opening to post-closing.
Responsibilities
Greet clients, manage calls and correspondence, schedule appointments
Open, organize, and maintain matter files; ensure accurate data entry and document control
Prepare, review, and finalize standard real estate documents and closing packages
Coordinate with clients, lenders, brokers, and opposing counsel to obtain required information
Track key dates, manage checklists, and support closings and post-closing follow-up
Proofread documents for accuracy and completeness; ensure compliance with firm policies
Provide general administrative support to lawyers, including billing and file reporting
Qualifications
Experience in Ontario real estate conveyancing preferred
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail; ability to manage multiple files
Clear, professional communication with clients and stakeholders
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal/practice management software
Ability to maintain confidentiality and work to deadlines
Law Clerk diploma/certificate or relevant experience an asset
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
