Responsibilities

Deliver tailored tutoring sessions in reading comprehension, vocabulary development, and foundational math skills, including algebra, geometry, trigonometry, calculus, and statistics. Deliver customized lesson plans and instructional materials aligned with each student's learning goals and curriculum standards. Assess student progress regularly through informal evaluations and formal assessments; adjust teaching strategies accordingly to maximize learning outcomes. Manage tutoring sessions effectively to maintain a positive and focused atmosphere conducive to learning in a 3:1 student teacher ratio. Maintain accurate records of tutoring sessions and student progress.

Skills

Proficiency with learning technology platforms and digital tools used for interactive instruction. Excellent tutoring skills with experience working with children in various educational settings. Table management abilities to create an engaging yet disciplined learning environment for students in a 3:1 student teacher setting. Solid computer skills for managing records and utilizing educational software effectively. Experience working with students who have diverse learning needs or require special education accommodations. Ability to communicate complex topics clearly across different age groups while fostering motivation and confidence in learners. Pay: $16.00-$18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 6 - 20 per week
