Tutor Doctor Burlington is hiring caring and reliable

Reading and Math Tutors

to work one-to-one with students from

Kindergarten to Grade 8

, either

in-home

or

online

. We provide the clients, you focus on doing what you love - helping students learn and grow.

This is a flexible, part-time contract role, ideal for

college/university students, teacher candidates, recent grads, or experienced tutors

looking to make a difference while building professional skills.

What You'll Do

Provide personalized academic support in

reading, writing, or math

based on student needs and school curriculum. Build strong relationships with students and families while maintaining professionalism and punctuality. Track session progress and communicate clearly.

What You Bring

Completion of

secondary school (minimum requirement)

. Strong subject knowledge in English and/or Math. Excellent communication and time-management skills. Basic comfort using

MS Office

and online tools. Must be able to pass a

Background Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening

before starting.

Reliable transportation

to travel to students' homes within Burlington.

Nice to have:

Teaching, tutoring, or mentoring experience. Enrolled in or completed a teaching program (e.g., OCT or education degree). Experience supporting students with different learning needs.
