Midland Transport is looking for a motivated individual to work as a Rate Agent Representative based out of our Head Office Location in Dieppe, NB.

We are looking for someone detail-oriented with the ambition to go above and beyond to provide exceptional customer service to our customers.

Qualifications:

• You have minimum High school Diploma
• You have a minimum 2 years of customer service experience preferably in a call center environment
• You fluent in both official languages English and French
• You have excellent communication skills with strong attention to details
• You can multitask and navigate between multiple software applications simultaneously while ensuring you continue to support the customer at the same time
• You are strong Microsoft Suite user
• You are able to troubleshoot problems and follow through to resolution
• You have proficient mathematical aptitude

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide accurate spot rate quotes for Courier and Transport Services through inbound calls and emails
• Follow-up with existing customers who require assistance in understanding their rate agreements
• Support booking orders for domestic and International LTL, TL, and Courier shipments
• Communicate with Sales and Pricing Department
• Actively support other team members
• Take ownership of your daily tasks and performance
