Radio HW Product Junior Integrator

Location: Ottawa

Our Exciting Opportunity:

We are currently seeking upcoming or recent graduates to join our radio product integration team as junior integrators. In this role you will help the team integrate hardware design blocks (digital, analog, PA, filter, mechanical) and embedded software into new radio products. These radio products are used in wireless network base stations deployed worldwide by the leading mobile operators. The integration work includes:

• Verifying that the radio product functions as expected and meets required performance requirements
• Determining product-specific configuration settings (eg temperature corrections, over frequency adjustments, PA linearization)
• Troubleshooting and resolving issues found during product development or after deployment by customers

To be successful in the role, you must have:

• BSc level in Electrical or Computer Engineering or related field achieved or pending
• Knowledge of RF hardware and system design
• Experience with basic lab equipment including spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, signal generators, oscilloscopes, multimeters and power supplies
• Ability to multitask across various subject areas and tasks
• Energy and drive to thrive in a dynamic product development environment
• Preferred course specialization in: Wireless, RF/microwave, communication systems
• Excellent English skills, both written and spoken
• Microsoft Windows/Office & Linux skills
• Matlab, simulation tools skills
• Ability to develop and maintain scripts and software in one or more of these languages: Agilent VEE, LabVIEW, Python, C#
• An inquisitive mind, a passion for learning
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills
• Strong team and interpersonal skills
