Job Description


We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quality Manager to join our client\'s team. As a Quality Manager, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining our quality management system to ensure that our products meet or exceed customer expectations. You will lead a team of quality professionals and work closely with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement and maintain compliance with industry standards and regulations. The ideal candidate has a strong background in quality management, extensive knowledge of manufacturing processes, and excellent leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities: * Develop and implement a comprehensive quality management system to ensure consistent product quality throughout the manufacturing process.

  • Establish and maintain quality standards, procedures, and specifications to meet customer requirements and industry regulations.
  • Lead and manage a team of quality professionals, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure effective execution of quality control processes.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to monitor and evaluate compliance with quality standards and identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, engineering, and supply chain, to address quality issues, resolve non-conformities, and implement corrective actions.
  • Analyze quality data, including customer feedback, product defects, and process variations, to identify trends and implement preventive measures.
  • Develop and implement quality control plans and inspection procedures to ensure the integrity and reliability of incoming materials, in-process production, and finished goods.
  • Oversee the calibration and maintenance of measuring and testing equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability of measurement results.
  • Conduct supplier assessments and manage supplier quality performance to ensure the delivery of high-quality materials and components.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory requirements related to quality management and incorporate best practices into the organization\'s processes.
  • Champion a culture of continuous improvement by promoting quality awareness, facilitating problem-solving initiatives, and driving Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Prepare and present quality reports and performance metrics to senior management, highlighting areas of concern, improvement opportunities, and progress towards quality objectives.
Qualifications: * Bachelor\'s degree in engineering, quality management, or a related field. A master\'s degree is preferred.
  • Proven experience as a Quality Manager or similar role in the manufacturing industry.
  • Strong knowledge of quality management principles, tools, and methodologies, such as ISO 9001, Six Sigma, and Lean Manufacturing.
  • In-depth understanding of manufacturing processes, quality control techniques, and statistical analysis.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements and standards relevant to the manufacturing industry (e.g., FDA, ISO, AS9100).
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven mindset.
  • Experience in implementing and managing quality management systems, including document control, non-conformance management, and corrective/preventive actions.
  • Proficiency in using quality tools and software for data analysis and reporting.
  • Certification in quality management, such as Certified Quality Manager (CQM) or Certified Quality Engineer (CQE), is a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive continuous improvement initiatives and deliver measurable results.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
