Overview / Responsibilities

Wood is seeking an experienced Quality Coordinator to join the team in Calgary.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide support as directed by quality professionals in the successful implementation of quality strategies, plans, objectives, and deliverables.
  • Support the continued communication, development, and improvement of our Business Management System (BMS)
  • Support in the communication, development, and improvement of other supporting system such as Non-Conformance or customer satisfaction systems undertaking simple data analysis.
  • Support planned assurance activities through planning, execution, and reporting phases. This may include external assurance (e.g. suppliers and subcontractors)
  • Support quality professionals in the production of quality deliverables in support of overall project or program implementation
Skills / Qualifications

Required Qualifications:
  • 3 - 5 years of industry related experience
  • Strong knowledge of overall quality management systems (QMS)
  • Excellent written and verbal skills in English (Preparation, editing, and review of documents with strong attention to detail is a primary responsibility).
  • Advanced skills with Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and working knowledge of Visio and SharePoint
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment and willingness to readily assume additional or new responsibilities
Preferred:
  • Degree or diploma in business or engineering or commensurate level of industry experience
  • ISO Audit training or certification
